Studio

Digisonic is a three room studio. Each room is mechanically isolated from each other. Each room has a floating floor design.

We decided to go with a Tascam X48 Hard disk recorder to give us that "LIVE" feel in the studio. Mousing around through a layer of menus and screens was not an option for our engineer or our customers in the studio. Most of our customers prefer to record with all of their musicians playing simultaneously and use Midi and overdubs only to enhance the foundational rhythm tracks.

In our quest to find the latest and greatest recording platform, we noticed a lot of today's national touring bands preferred to record to a Hard Disk recorder like the Tascam X48 and then mix down in Pro Tools back at the studio. The Tascam X48 files can easily be transferred to Digidesign's ProTools architecture for Mix down at a post editing suite. We can mix to CD either with the X48 or our new Tascam D4800 digital mixing console. Our new Tascam D4800 digital automated console can be used as a control surface for Pro Tools, Logic, Sonar Cakewalk, and Nuendo.
